Our Story
Who We Are
Based just outside Llangennith, Big Meadow is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project growing Soil Association certified organic vegetables for local households.
For over six years we've been producing fresh, seasonal vegetables while building a resilient local food system that connects people with the land, the seasons and each other.
Every week our members collect a share of the harvest, knowing they're supporting sustainable farming, biodiversity and a thriving local community.
Weekly volunteer sessions
Seasonal celebrations including our annual wassail
Whether you simply collect your vegetables or spend time in the field, you're part of the Big Meadow community.
More Than a Veg Box
Big Meadow is about much more than growing food.
We're building a community around sustainable agriculture through:
School visits
Training and educational opportunities
Community events
Recipe sharing and growing advice

Autumn
Squash • Sweetcorn • Beetroot • Fennel • Peppers
Winter
Parsnips • Sprouts • Mixed Salad • Parsley • Celeriac
Spring
